- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
Instructions
- Step 1: Wash the lemon, cucumber, and mint leaves thoroughly. Thinly slice the lemon and cucumber. Peel and grate the fresh ginger. Lightly muddle or tear the mint leaves to release their aroma.
- Step 2: Place all the prepared ingredients – sliced lemon, sliced cucumber, grated ginger, muddled mint leaves, and ground turmeric – into a large pitcher or glass jar.
- Step 3: Pour the 4 cups (1 liter) of filtered water over the ingredients. Add the organic apple cider vinegar to the mixture and stir gently to combine everything.
- Step 4: Cover the pitcher and refrigerate overnight (for at least 8 hours) to allow the flavors to infuse completely and the beneficial properties to seep into the water.
- Step 5: The following morning, strain the liquid into a clean bottle or glass, discarding all the solid ingredients. Drink a glass first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and continue to sip the remainder throughout the day.
